Be a Supporter of Ensemble Stage
Theatre isn’t like the corporate world. Because purchase of our product (ticket sales) can only cover a small portion of production and operating costs, we need your support if we are to keep access to the performing arts affordable.
Ensemble Stage is in the process of becoming incorporated and filing for our 501(c)(3) not-for-profit status. Please understand that while we go through this process all monetary or tangible donations you contribute are not tax-deductible. However, also understand that all donations and money received from ticket and program ad sales go toward production and operating expenses only. None of the members of Ensemble Stage receive any type of salary or stipend so be assured that any type of contribution you make will go strictly to providing the High-Country community affordable access to top quality performing arts.
When we receive our not-for-profit status you will be the first to know. Then all your donations will, of course, be tax-deductible.
Also, we’re doing things a bit different regarding our donations. Once again (and you’ll hear and see this a lot from us), we want the community to feel a true sense of partnership with us. Therefore, much of what we ask for will be to provide something tangible. Things you can point to and say, “See that? I gave them the money to get it.” Your specific contribution will also be noted in our production programs. In other words, if you agreed to donate the money necessary to bring in an out-of-town actor or to buy a sofa for our set, that specific item will be recognized alongside your name in our program. Prior to any production you can come to this webpage and look at the list of needed funding to see if there’s something you would like to help us with.
Obviously, these items don't cover all the expenses involved with this production but, other than insurance, they are the most expensive single-line items and let's face it, the most fun to donate towards. After all, how much fun is sponsoring ink, paper, insurance, a circular saw, drill bits, etc. Of course, if you want to sponsor any of those things we'd love to hear from you.
Also, for every $150 you donate you'll receive one complementary ticket to the performance of your choice.
