THEATRE OUTSIDE THE BOX
(Ages 7-10 & Ages 11-14)

In a world such as ours, it’s critical to know how to pivot and think outside the box. Campers will learn important life skills such as public speaking, teamwork/ group collaboration, improvisation, creative writing, scenic painting, auditioning/interviewing, memorization, taking direction, and how to make the best of every situation. They will write, create, build, and perform their own play for a big performance on the last day of camp! 

​Each camp is limited to 15 participants and will take place at 
The Historic Banner Elk School, 185 Azalea Cir SE, Banner Elk, NC 28604

Camp dates for ages 7 thru 10 are Monday, June 28th through Friday, July 2nd from 9am-3pm daily.
The graduation performance will be at 1:30 PM on July 2nd

Camp dates for ages 11 thru 14 are Monday, July 5th through Friday, July 9th from 9am-3pm daily.
The graduation performance will be at 1:30 PM on July 9th
Theatre Camps
This camp will be directed by Natasha Braswell who will be assisted by Jana Prather Greer. Natasha graduated from Tarleton State University with a BFA in Theatre. She did her senior internship at Seattle Children’s Theatre working with their summer youth programs. After graduating, she worked as a theatre administrator for the Granbury Opera House directing the kids’ theatre school. Jana is an App State graduate with a BA in Music/Performance. Currently she is the General Manager for the Land of Oz theme park at Beech Mountain and a dance instructor at Northwestern Dance Studio in Boone.

The price of this camp is $225
A $125 non-refundable deposit 
is required to ensure enrollment

COVID-19 MITIGATION PROTOCOLS

All camp instructors and Ensemble Stage staff will have received their complete vaccine regimen prior to start of camps.

All CDC and NC Health and local mitigation guidelines that are in effect at times of camps will be equaled or exceeded, including, but not limited to, masks, distancing, and sanitization..
